All are encouraged to join us in petitioning heaven for a fruitful and grace-filled conference. Please consider printing the conference prayer below, and praying it frequently (daily if possible!). For a printer-friendly version, click here. Thank you for your support.
Father in Heaven, we praise you for the gift of children. Thank you for dedicated parents who desire to home-school their children. Have mercy on us who are your children. We come to you just as we are, sinful and sorrowful, yet mindful that you use the weak to accomplish your holy will, so that all may know that this is your work and not ours.
Pour out your blessings on the 2008 Illinois Catholic Homeschool Conference. We ask you to bless our efforts and direct our paths. May it be planned in accordance with your Divine Will. May we be your instruments, helping other parents to reject the secular humanism that permeates popular education, and to realize their role as the primary educators of their children in teaching the truth.
May those who attend find encouragement to be counter-cultural and to embrace your son Jesus, who is Truth itself. Pour out your divine grace on all who plan this convention, all who will attend, all who volunteer, all who will speak, all who will care for the children, and all the vendors. May this convention help families who are home schooling, and those considering it, to find all the resources necessary for their respective needs.
We consecrate this convention and all our efforts to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, that she may lead us every step of the way. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, and the fire of His divine love, that we may accomplish your will with peace and joy. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, Who with the Father and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.
St. Ann, who schooled the young Blessed Virgin Mary, pray for us!

Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known
that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help,
or sought thine intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of Virgins, my mother.
To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.

"The family is the school of love."
“Today more than ever,
the Christian family has
a very noble mission…”
